The essentials of managing a business have been condensed into this 6 days intensive Residential Professional Management Program.


On successful completion of this program, course members will be able to:

This specialized leadership program is specifically targeted at those:

Working executives interested in building or refreshing critical business and management skills.

  • Entrepreneurs and business owners who need to understand and apply essential strategic business concepts.
  • Technical professionals making a transition into management positions.
  • A professional who’s training did not include business preparation (e.g., physicians, attorneys, non-profit executives and business persons who completed studies in another academic field).
  • Professionals and managers who are considering pursuit of a full-blown MBA or DBA program.


  • Applicants must converse well in English and have a minimum of a Bachelor degree or equivalent professional qualification with five years working experience.
  • Applicants who do not have Bachelor degree and are holding senior executive position with age above 35 years old and converse well in English are encourage to apply.
  • All application is subject to final approval by EDS Board.


PMP Program Fees is FREE

Participants only need to pay US$690 to cover the following expenses:

  • 9 days and 8 night of hotel accommodation at B-Suite Hotel in twin-sharing,
  • Breakfast and lunch during the seminar,
  • Transport provided from and from Penang Airport for participants,
  • Welcoming dinner and fellowship night,
  • Traveling to factory visit and half-day Penang Heritage City Tour,
  • Lectures guide, training materials, and stationery,
  • Certificate of Participants,
  • Professional fees for trainers / lecturers,
  • EDS administrative and support fees.


EDS Certificate of Achievement in Professional Management Program will be awarded upon fulfilling the following conditions:

  • Participants must attend each module in a punctual manner, remain in attendance for the full duration of each module, dress appropriately (short pants and slippers not permitted), and comply with the directions and expectations of the instructor during each session.
  • Participate in the Industrial visit to Multi-National Company.

This Certificate will be evidence of your personal and professional development.

EDS Welcoming Dinner Held at George Town, UNESCO World Heritage Site

In conjunction with the residential EDS Professional Management Program, EDS Advance Academy also organizes a Welcoming Dinner for all the participants at Golden BBQ Steamboat Restaurant (www.goldenbbqpg.com), one of the most famous BBQ, steam boat and hot plate restaurant in the city of Georgetown, Penang.

This gives the participants opportunities to socialize, to get to know each other and build networking among participants, EDS faculty members and EDS management teams.

George Town is a Historic Cities of the Straits of Malacca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Industrial Visit

Additional unique features of the EDS Professional Management Program involves organized study tours to visit successful industries located in Penang, where participants were granted access to view high profile multi-nationals or local successful public listed companies from inside out.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn the techniques for operating in a global business environment. This is an opportunity for them to see first-hand how business is conducted in a very different culture and economy, and then apply what they have learned for the benefit of their career and their employer.
